When you right click on the folder, and you go to the sharing tab, you see two options:
- Share
- Advanced sharing
Under the advanced sharing tab there is a box.
Here is an example:
The "Share this folder" must be ticked.
You can add groups or usernames here and change the permissions.
After you've set this up. You shoudl see the folder under you network. Then it should be properly shared.
